Our Online Journey

Rimu Class have started to use Blogger and we can now transfer our work from our old blogs to this new one.  All of us have our own personal blogs and we also have this class blog.  We hope you enjoy seeing our work that we will be sharing with you.

Our Online Footprint

This week we have been looking at our online profiles, our digital footprints and being aware of the implications of what we share.
We viewed the a video of a woman sharing personal information with somebody sitting at a bus stop.  We created a padlet to share our thoughts about what information we should share and what we should not share.

This Padlet shows our thoughts about this video and the information this woman gave to a complete stranger.

27 August~ Learning to Screenshot our Numeracy Online Work

Today we learned how to screenshot results from online math activities.  We used Prototec to work on our number knowledge, took a screenshot and then posted to our blogs.  Here is an example from Miss Waho's Stage 2-3 work.
I think I did really well in this but maybe Stage 2-3 is too easy for me.  Next time, I will try stage 4 and see if I can get more of a challenge.

27 August ~ More screenshots with Matific
We are using Matific to support our math learning.
I didn't do very well with this because the monsters were too scary.  Next time I will play a game with kittens.
